Clinical Research Scientist
We are seeking a Clinical Research Scientist for neurodegenerative indications with experience in managing multidisciplinary drug development projects. The successful candidate will interact within a multi-disciplinary, matrix work group ensuring that clinical and scientific issues are appropriately considered in the development and execution of individual clinical studies and overall clinical development plans. You will be involved in operationalizing studies, monitoring data in real time to ensure the integrity of the study, proactively identifying issues in the conduct of trials, and in medical review and analysis of data for the purposes of both data cleaning and interpretation for regulatory documents and publications.
Amylyx is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated clinical development physician to join our team dedicated to developing treatments to slow the progression of neurodegenerative diseases including ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer you will build and lead a team of clinical development professionals within the global neurology franchise. As a medical and clinical expert, you will provide mentoring to members of the Amylyx team.

Amylyx is seeking a highly collaborative Executive Assistant to support members of the Commercial Leadership Team. The role includes general administrative duties as well as project-based work in support of multiple functional areas. We are seeking to hire an individual with the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple deliverables and priorities. This role will report to the Global Head of Commercial/Chief Commercial Officer and support a team of both remote and Cambridge based employees. Amylyx is seeking a Medical, Legal, Regulatory Review (MLR) & Marketing Operations Manager, who will manage all aspects of the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) review committee, along with print, fulfillment, and proofreading. This role serves as the connection between marketing strategies and program execution. S/he will interface with all levels, partnering cross functionally with teams including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Sales Training, Regulatory, Medical, Legal and Compliance teams, as well as external agency partners.

By leading collaborations and communications with global patient advocacy and professional groups externally, this position will help ensure that patient and professional group perspectives inform decision making and communications. This role will also require seamless cross functional collaboration with commercial colleagues. This position, in conjunction with colleagues from commercial, forms the territory team that works hand in hand on key territory projects.
Reporting to the General Manager of Canada, the Head of Medical Affairs in Canada will be responsible for the development of the country’s Medical strategy and programs that support the successful commercialization of all Amylyx therapies in Canada. In this role, you will be recognized as a leader in our newly created, centralized Canadian Leadership Team and will have deep ties into the Global Medical Affairs function based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The Head, Clinical Quality Assurance oversees all aspects of GCP QA activities internally at Amylyx as well as Investigator Sites and CROs and GCP Vendors. In this role you will lead or oversees GCP activities and lead GCP inspection readiness. The successful candidate will ensure high quality execution of clinical trials from first in human through commercial marketing authorization. In this role you will manage cross functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be the Lead Quality Assurance representative on clinical teams for ongoing clinical trials. This newly created role is a high visibility position with great impact potential.
Amylyx is seeking a Head of QMS who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and processes to ensure GxP compliance. We are looking for a hands-on individual that can partner with internal departments to develop and support the Documentation Management System (DMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) for Deviations, CAPAs, change control and complaints including process improvement implementations that meet business and regulatory requirements. The individual will also be responsible for complaints, APQR, Recalls and Quality oversite of Computer System Validation. The individual will lead inspection readiness activities to assure Amylyx is inspection ready at all times.
As Amylyx continues to grow and prepare to bring our medicines to patients, we are expanding the Quality function in all areas, in particular oversight of our third-party laboratories and stability programs. In this newly created role, the Lead of Quality Control will provide quality oversight of bulk drug product and finished drug product testing and stability programs to expand into US, Canadian and International markets. Responsibilities may also include review of manufacturing, packaging, labeling and distribution documents for clinical and marketed product. You will provide support on Quality Management Systems within GMP operations for internal implementation as well as integration with contracted partners. As the Quality Control expert, you are accountable for ensuring all company, regional, and global GMP and GDP standards and regulations are met, and that the GMP Quality department performs to a standard that ensures the quality of products and materials produced by our contracted partners. As we prepare for global commercialization, you will support the implementation and operation of commercial quality control systems.
Reporting to the Head, Global Regulatory Affairs, the successful candidate holds significant responsibility for regulatory strategy and operations on identified projects, ensuring that Company products comply with and meet regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal and external teams from Supply Chain, Quality, Contract Manufacturing Organizations, as well as external consultants to advance the company’s portfolio.
