Head of Biometrics
The Head of Biometrics will be a senior member of the Clinical Development Leadership Team (CDLT), and work with a high-performing cross-functional team. In this newly created position, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the Biometrics function at Amylyx. As the first person in biometrics, this will be a hands-on role partnering with external consultants and managing vendors.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in all phases of new drug development including a track record of successful regulatory interactions on accelerated timelines.
Amylyx is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated clinical development physician to join our team dedicated to developing treatments to slow the progression of neurodegenerative diseases including ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer you will build and lead a team of clinical development professionals within the global neurology franchise. As a medical and clinical expert, you will provide mentoring to members of the Amylyx team.
North America, Head of Patient Services and Pharmacy Distribution
As a key member of the Patient Services and Commercial Distribution team, the North America (NA) Head of Patient Services and Pharmacy Distribution will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Patient Services and pharmacy distribution strategy for Amylyx Pharmaceuticals. The successful Patient Services outcome is streamlined and transparent coverage resulting in unimpeded and timely patient access to therapy with a focus on conversions and adherence.
This individual will drive Amylyx’s patient services concept and value proposition while aligning with brand strategy and seeking out innovative and new approaches to patient services through market research and cross functional collaboration. This individual will also have responsibility for helping create Amylyx’s distribution concept, value proposition, and managing specialty pharmacy vendor(s). The successful Channel outcome is a channel and distribution strategy that will economically provide seamless product distribution, complete data collection and guarantee product integrity/pedigree. Success will be driven through alignment of Amylyx strategies with defined critical success factors, key performance indicators, while supporting business tactics for AMX-0035. This individual will foster strong partnerships with other cross functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Legal, Supply Chain, Field Reimbursement and Sales/Marketing Operations.
The Head of Global Commercial Training and Development will play a critical role in building and leading the vision, structure, organizational capabilities, and operating model for commercial learning and development at Amylyx. In this role you will partner with fellow members of the Global Amylyx leadership team to include, General Managers, Marketing leads, Commercial Analytics and Medical Affairs leads.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building the commercial training and development function, developing training strategy, and directing the implementation. Leading with our values, one of which is curiosity and being a learning environment, this role will establish the concepts of learning, development, and continual improvement across the organization globally.
Amylyx is seeking a senior level finance professional with strong analytical and communication skills to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function. This position offers a unique opportunity to report directly to a seasoned and experienced CFO and have direct access to the founding Co-CEOs and the Amylyx leadership team. You will be a key business partner for our senior leadership team, shaping corporate strategy as well as business planning and decision making for commercial operations, manufacturing/supply chain, and R&D.
Amylyx has plans to initiate commercial operations in Canada and the EU in the next 24 months and to grow into a multi-indication, multi-product company over the long term. We are seeking a seasoned life science industry finance professional that has developed integrated budgets, managed scenario-based forecasts, and conducted insightful analyses.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the IT organizations Infrastructure, Architecture, Operations and Security within Amylyx. This responsibility will include a range of activities within the information technology organization including, developing and maintaining procedures to ensure Amylyx has a stable, robust, scalable and secure technical environment. This position will encompass many activities including evaluating new technology solutions; implementing approved solutions that will help propel and support the business goals; refining existing solutions that are currently in place and managing the day to day needs of each of the existing solutions. This is a critical role on the Information Technology team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the IT organizations strategy, implementation, and support for all business systems (Commercial, G&A, Clinical, R&D, Supply chain and Quality) within Amylyx. This responsibility will include a range of activities within the information technology organization including project management, developing, and maintaining procedures to ensure Amylyx has a stable, robust, and scalable set of applications to support international growth and evolving business needs. This position will encompass many activities including evaluating new applications; implementing approved solutions that will help propel and support the business goals; refining existing solutions that are currently in place and managing the day to day needs of each of the existing solutions. This is a critical and highly visible role on the Information Technology team.
Our Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are field-based, scientific, medical experts. They are an extension of Amylyx’s medical affairs department in the field to build and facilitate strategic peer to peer relationships with key Health Care Providers (HCPs). In this role you will be providing credible and unbiased scientific information, identifying and executing strategic medical affairs projects and supporting home office medical activities.
Amylyx is seeking a Head, Global Medical Affairs Operations to lead the planning and tactical execution of global medical affairs plans across pre-clinical, clinical stage and/or marketed programs. This individual will be responsible for establishing strategies and processes to ensuring synergies across programs and territories and will proactively highlight risks, timeline delays and other issues and ensure development of proper contingency plans. This position reports to the Vice President and Global Head of Medical Affairs.
As Amylyx continues to grow and prepare to bring our medicines to patients, we are expanding the Quality function in all areas, in particular GMP. If you are passionate about Quality and drug development and manufacturing, this is an excellent opportunity for you! In this newly created role, the Lead of GMP Quality will provide operational quality oversight of bulk drug product and finished drug product manufacturing, testing, packaging, labeling and distribution. You will provide support on Quality Management Systems within GMP operations for internal implementation as well as integration with contracted partners. As the GMP quality expert you are accountable for ensuring all company, regional, and global GMP and GDP standards and regulations are met, and that the GMP Quality department performs to a standard that ensures the quality of products and materials produced by our contracted partners. As we prepare for global commercialization, you will support the implementation and operation of commercial quality systems.
The Lead, GCP Quality Assurance performs GCP QA activities related to his/her assigned clinical trials/studies and to general Amylyx quality, compliance, and inspection readiness activities. This role provides direct quality oversight and consultation to clinical teams and interacts with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders to assure the quality of Amylyx-sponsored clinical trials/studies.
Amylyx is seeking a Head of Quality Compliance who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and processes to ensure GxP compliance. We are looking for a hands-on individual that can partner with internal departments to develop and support the Documentation Management System (DMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) process improvement implementations that meet business and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will lead inspection readiness activities to assure Amylyx is inspection ready at all times. You will also be responsible for supplier oversight and audit execution.
The Global Head, Logistics & Trade Compliance leads a team responsible for the clinical and commercial supply chain shipping and distribution and execution for Amylyx’ s clinical supply and to-be-marketed products. Reporting to the Head of External Supply, the leader in this role is responsible for strategic leadership and operational execution of all activities and relationships required to ensure the timely and compliant delivery of product for clinical and commercial distribution. As a key leader in the rapidly growing Supply Chain organization, this role leads and impacts end-to-end supply chain activities from Phase I clinical studies through commercialization to meet the primary goal of fulfilling and delivering to customers. The leader also sets strategic direction and vendor relationship for all transportation supporting all GXP operations.
In this role you will provide technical leadership and serve as the process owner for Amylyx’s lead compound, AMX-3500. This position will support assets throughout the lifecycle including process development, optimization, scale-up, validation, and continuous improvement. You will be the primary technical lead for process validation, process improvements, technical transfers, and ongoing manufacturing technical support. Working in conjunction with a cross-functional team, you will participate in the long-term CMC Asset strategic plan development and ultimate implementation of activities to meet long range forecasts, reduce supply risks, improve processes, reduce COGS, and support global expansion. This role reports to the Head, CMC Asset Operations Management.
