Head of Biometrics
The Head of Biometrics will be a senior member of the Clinical Development Leadership Team (CDLT), and work with a high-performing cross-functional team. In this newly created position, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the Biometrics function at Amylyx. As the first person in biometrics, this will be a hands-on role partnering with external consultants and managing vendors.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in all phases of new drug development including a track record of successful regulatory interactions on accelerated timelines.
We are seeking a Lead, Clinical Research Scientist for neurodegenerative indications with experience in managing multidisciplinary drug development projects. The successful candidate will interact within a multi-disciplinary, matrix work group ensuring that clinical and scientific issues are appropriately considered in the development and execution of individual clinical studies and overall clinical development plans. You will be involved in operationalizing studies, monitoring data in real time to ensure the integrity of the study, proactively identifying issues in the conduct of trials, and in medical review and analysis of data for the purposes of both data cleaning and interpretation for regulatory documents and publications.
Amylyx is seeking an experienced and highly motivated clinical development physician to join our team dedicated to developing treatments to slow the progression of neurodegenerative diseases including ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. Reporting directly to the Global Head, Chief Medical Officer you will build and lead a team of clinical development professionals within the global neurology franchise.
Reporting to the Head of Global Clinical Operations, you will be responsible for managing clinical studies in ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned clinical operations trial lead, comfortable working independently, have experience managing cross-functional activities internally and externally, strong vendor management skills, experience managing full-service CROs, a proactive problem-solver, proficient verbal and written communication. Experience working on global pivotal clinical studies in a small face-paced company environment is a plus.
The Global Brand Lead for ALS is a critical and visible leader within the organization responsible for developing global engagement strategies through analysis of insights and partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders. In this role you will apply strategic direction to create and execute initiatives ensuring a successful launch that maximizes global brand awareness.
Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing, and as part of the Global Marketing leadership team, you will collaborate and contribute to projects across the organization. In partnership with the market insights and analytics team you will drive the global strategic plan and execution.

The Head of Total Rewards and HR Systems is a newly created role, responsible for leading and managing the design, implementation, communication, and ongoing evaluation of our total rewards strategy and programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and executing a holistic HR systems roadmap that supports data driven decision making, automates transactional work while effectively providing seamless digital interactions for employees.
You will ensure that Amylyx’s compensation, benefits, equity, and other rewards programs are forward-thinking and competitive, support the delivery of our desired employee experience and are aligned with the Company’s culture and business strategy. You must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment at both the strategic and tactical levels, thinking longer-term while rolling up your sleeves to execute the details.
This newly created position will be a key member the Quality Leadership Team. The Head of Audit Management is accountable for leading the risk-based vendor management program for Amylyx GxP Quality, and for presenting the program during regulatory inspections. The individual is responsible for planning, conducting, and closing GxP vendor audits to assess Amylyx’s vendors and clinical sites level of compliance with GxP regulations, guidelines, internal procedures, and industry best-practices. In this role you will act as the primary contact point for all audit related communication with vendors. You will be responsible for maintaining approved vendor list and implementation of Quality Technical Agreements.
As Amylyx continues to grow and prepare to bring our medicines to patients, we are expanding the Quality function in all areas, in particular GMP. If you are passionate about Quality and drug development and manufacturing, this is an excellent opportunity for you! In this newly created role, the Head of GMP Quality will provide strategic and operational leadership for the quality oversight of bulk drug product and finished drug product manufacturing, testing, packaging, labeling and distribution. You will provide support on Quality Management Systems within GMP operations to ensure phase appropriate quality systems are used throughout the lifecycle of the products. As the GMP quality expert you are accountable for ensuring all company, regional, and global GMP and GDP standards and regulations are met, and that the GMP Quality department is developed and maintained to a standard that ensures the quality of products and materials produced by our contracted partners. As we prepare for global commercialization, you will lead the implementation and management of commercial quality systems.
Amylyx is seeking a Head of Quality Compliance who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and processes to ensure GxP compliance. We are looking for a hands-on individual that can partner with internal departments to develop and support the Documentation Management System (DMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) process improvement implementations that meet business and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will lead inspection readiness activities to assure Amylyx is inspection ready at all times. You will also be responsible for supplier oversight and audit execution.
This role represents a unique opportunity to help build the regulatory affairs function at Amylyx. In this role you will design and execute appropriate global regulatory strategies to support the research, development, and commercialization of Amylyx products in all phases of development and life-cycle management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic regulatory plans to enable continued compliance in multiple regions. You will manage the preparation of high-quality regulatory submissions to global regulatory agencies.
In this role you will provide technical leadership and serve as the process owner for Amylyx’s lead compound, AMX-3500. This position will support assets throughout the lifecycle including process development, optimization, scale-up, validation, and continuous improvement. You will be the primary technical lead for process validation, process improvements, technical transfers, and ongoing manufacturing technical support. Working in conjunction with a cross-functional team, you will participate in the long-term CMC Asset strategic plan development and ultimate implementation of activities to meet long range forecasts, reduce supply risks, improve processes, reduce COGS, and support global expansion. This role reports to the Head, CMC Asset Operations Management.
